The Mammoth Lakes Arts on the 4th Festival is a 47-year tradition held in the heart of Mammoth Lakes, a charming, mountain resort community nestled in the Eastern Sierra Nevada mountains. This long-standing arts fair is set on the most prominent corner in town, Main Street and Old Mammoth Road, in the parking lot of Footloose Sports. It is loved by artists and patrons alike for its commitment to high-quality art in a warm and friendly environment.

The Arts of the 4th Festival, scheduled for July 4-6, 2024, will attract 50-70 artists and upwards of 10,000 visitors and buyers from around the region. On the 4th of July, the Town parade will pass right by the event, creating a festive influx of patrons. Just four hours north of Los Angeles and one hour south of the eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park, Mammoth Lakes is known for its world-class hiking, biking, and water sports. This is Mammoth’s busiest summer weekend with patrons coming to enjoy the Festival, Annual 4th of July Parade, fireworks, and outdoor recreation activities.

New this year, we are expanding the footprint of the festival to create more space for patrons to relax while strolling through the festival, increasing time spent visiting booths.

As a fundraising event to support local programming, Mammoth Lakes Arts on the 4th prides itself on the quality of its artists, and treating crowds to delicious food, top-notch music performances, and unique, creative activities for the whole family.

Our residency has been featured on the ResArtis network (a worldwide network of 550 vetted members operating in 75 countries), as well as on Artist Communities and ArtConnect. In 2023 we were honored to be selected among the Top Artist Residencies in South of France by the Art Connect Magazine.

The Artist Residency Program provides each resident with:

• One to two months in residence at La Maison de Beaumont
• A fully equipped private apartment with kitchen & bath (see further below for Housing Options)
• Access to a Music & Exhibition room a multi-use space that can serve as as an artist studio, a performance and exhibition space or for other artistic endeavors
• A Common Terrace for relaxation, networking with other residents, meditation, etc.
  

The Art Residency Program of La Maison de Beaumont is a multi-disciplinary residency that was created with the goal of offering a beautiful space for musicians, scholars, writers, painters and other artists who seek a quiet place to work undisturbed on their art.

Mosaics Fine Art Festival is centered along Old Main Street of downtown St. Charles, Missouri. Located in the historic greenway area of Richland, Art in the Park Festival is the premier and largest art festival in the Mid-Columbia Basin. Summertime on Park Point conjures a sense of rolling waves and seagulls soaring over rare beach grass and one hundred year old pines. And for one weekend each year, it brings artists and art lovers together in a festive setting that welcomes one and all. The region’s longest standing outdoor visual arts showcase returns to Minnesota’s favorite sandbar annually for 52 years. Park Point is an affluent community in the heart of the city of Duluth. "The Point" as it is affectionately called, is a unique environment and a destination in a destination town.

The Park Point Art Fair was awarded 10,000 dollars from the city of Duluth to forward its mission. Much of that money will be spent on marketing efforts making this an important year to participate and set the stage for more future support.

"I love the community spirit! I appreciate how many Park Point residents volunteer to help. And there is a special connection between the artists that is stronger than other shows. Most of all the community shows up to support the artists, even with rain in the forecast. I noticed that many visitors came with empty tote bags and were planning to shop for art."

The Kenan Center is an indoor sports arena with space for up to 100 vendors. Located in the center of Lockport, NY, visitors come from Niagara County, Buffalo, and Southern Ontario (and beyond). This is a diverse area with a high population of affluence due to the location of the Erie Canal. Kenan's campus is 25-acres with a theatre, art gallery, gardens and green space.
100 American Craftsmen is one of the region's oldest and most revered fine arts festivals. New Executive Director Bill Patti is committed to a revitalization of this historic event with an influx of Kenan resources and campus-wide planning.

• We visited, engaged, and recruited at over a dozen artisan festivals this season.

• We have expanded our marketing budget significantly. Marketing improvements will include an added push to the Buffalo metro area, Southern Ontario, artisan pushes (we will provide regular marketing materials for artisans to share with their mailing lists), and direct mailers through various publications.

• All vendors will be juried craftsmen. We may have a community partner section, but those partners will not sell goods.

• Increased availability of quality food choices.

• New and improved digital footprint – including an upgraded website

• Standard booth fees will remain the same; however, upgraded packages will be available for prime locations, increased marketing opportunities, and other options.

• Artisans may choose to have their booth outside. Some artists expressed hesitancy in being indoors on the first weekend of Western New York Summer. We think a hybrid event will help to expand interest in the community.

Our festival is outdoors in the beautiful Earl Brown City Park with winding walking paths and large live oak trees that shade the paths. a large pond with two beautiful fountains is the backdrop of the wonderful venue.

The DeLand Outdoor Art Festival "DOAF" was founded by Virginia Clausen and Joe Elliot in 1965 on the sidewalks of delightful DeLand, Florida. Virginia's outlook on the festival is to have a festival that everyone will enjoy.

DOAF has an area of the park for fine artists and fine crafts who will be competing for the $2,000 best in show award. The traditional crafts also has an area in the park. A large food court separates each section. We have an Amphitheater that throughout both days has live bands playing bluegrass, country, rhythm and blues, gospel and much more.

The 9th Dahlonega Arts & Wine Festival focuses on quality arts and crafts, regional & local wines, craft beer, and free live jazz performances. Last year our festival was Voted BEST OF GEORGIA for the Festival Category. Chestatee Artists presents this event and we always have three to four feet between arts/crafts booths so booths can be viewed from three sides for better viewing. We also have nighttime security with local off-duty deputies.
We are adding some extra booth spaces since we have closed the downtown festival footprint to vehicle traffic for the safety of attendees and participants.

Last year, one of our participants said that this festival put him at the highest level of sales he has ever had, which was in the thousands. Another participant said they love being in our festival because our volunteers take good care of them.
