At the end of September each year, Madison’s National Landmark Historic District welcomes around 40,000 visitors during the two-day Madison Chautauqua Festival of Art. The festival is Southern Indiana’s premier outdoor juried arts & crafts festival featuring approximately 220 exhibitors. This festival is free to the public and designed for the whole family to enjoy, although pets do need to remain home.

In addition to the fine artists and craftsmen showcasing their handmade work, the festival features continuous live entertainment, a riverfront food fest, kid’s activities, and an entertainment garden with local craft beer.

This is an outdoor event held along the beautiful tree-lined streets of downtown Madison, Indiana. The festival surrounds the State Historic Site of the Lanier Mansion in a residential area along the Ohio River.

SCOPE Events, LLC invites you to apply as one of the 170 premier artists for the four day La Quinta Art Celebration ENCORE 2026 lakeside at the stunning La Quinta Civic Center Park which is 30 minutes away from sunny Palm Springs.

The ENCORE Celebration draws a different audience than the traditional March event. In November, La Quinta Art Celebration ENCORE attracts art enthusiasts from the affluent Coachella Valley as well as patrons from elite California coastal communities. The private golf courses open for the season two weeks prior to ENCORE Celebration, so the timing is perfect to attract the high-end homeowners who live in the exclusive gated communities that we target. A significant marketing budget is allotted to reach present and potential art patrons. We strive to curate the right mix of attendees who are true art collectors.

La Quinta Art Celebration ENCORE is a commission art event. This allows the event to offer participating artists low booth fees, lower up- front cost, and a fiscal risk shared between the Promoter and the Artist. Artists pay 20% of all art sales that are a result of participation.

Call for Artists: Woodstock, VT Fine Art Show September 12–13, 2026 | Village Green, Woodstock

Applications are now open for the Woodstock Fine Art Show, a two-day outdoor event set on the Village Green in one of New England’s most visited small towns. Held the weekend following Labor Day, the show attracts a strong mix of visitors who come specifically to explore and purchase original work.

Up to 45 artists are selected each year, creating a thoughtfully curated show that highlights quality and variety. Work includes oil painting, watercolor, photography, pottery, and sculpture, presented in an open-air setting that encourages direct connection between artists and collectors.

The timing of the event places it at the start of Vermont’s fall season, when visitor traffic begins to build and interest in the arts is high. Presented by the Woodstock Area Chamber of Commerce, live music, local food, and regional spirits add to the energy of the weekend while keeping the focus on the artwork.

The Park Forest Art Fair is the second oldest, continuously juried fine art fair in the Chicagoland region.

This is an extraordinarily artist-friendly fair. The downtown street provides awnings under which new and emerging artists who have not yet invested in a tent can display their artworks. Volunteers can help unload and load vehicles. They also provide water all day, both days and can provide time for bathroom breaks. The Tall Grass Board of Directors serves breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, snacks at mid-day on Saturday and a scrumptious dinner Saturday night along with an awards ceremony.

 The fair features 60+ artists exhibiting in a range of mediaSeveral of the artists have exhibited continuously for nearly three decades. Other, newer artist come from throughout the Midwest. A long-standing tradition at the Park Forest Art Fair, one that is loved by all of the artists, is that fair-attendees stop and chat with the artists. Artists are welcome to demonstrate their artwork techniques during the fair.

Inasmuch as this is the 70th year of the fair, it is hoped that older artists, who no longer participate in art fair, will participate and help create a reunion atmosphere. Much of the fair publicity will stress the reunion nature of the fair.

Prizes are awarded in the areas of 1-dimensional art, 2-dimensional art and jewelry, as well as two judges’ choice awards and a peoples’ choice award.
