The Peninsula Art League (PAL) invites artists from across the country to be part of our 40th Annual Summer Art Festival, a milestone celebration set in the stunning natural surroundings of Sehmel Homestead Park in Gig Harbor, WA in the heart of the Puget Sound.
While a smaller city, festivals draw from a surrounding population of over 500,000 within a 30-minute drive, including visitors from Seattle, Tacoma and the greater Puget Sound. As a popular vacation spot, the town brings in weekend tourists looking for unique, portable, or shippable art pieces.
This highly anticipated two-day, juried outdoor festival draws more than 8,000 engaged visitors—art lovers, collectors, and community supporters who come specifically to discover and purchase original work. It’s an exceptional opportunity to for artists to present their art to an enthusiastic audience in a setting that encourages meaningful connections between artists and patrons.
Artists from the Pacific Northwest and beyond will showcase a diverse range of media, with attendees enjoying the chance to meet artists in person, learn about their creative process, and build lasting relationships. The festival experience is enriched with live music, popular food trucks, the Peninsula Art League Member Art Show, and family-friendly Kid’s Corner activities, creating a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere throughout the weekend.
