Twice as funky as the average fine art fair.
Fashionable Ferndale’s downtown is a thriving business community with distinctive boutiques and bistros. The lively atmosphere attracts young upwardly mobile professionals. This show is designed to provide a showcase for artists that have work that appeals to that group.
Yes, a fine art fair can also be funky. We focus on art that has a bit of an edge. Traditional techniques but non-traditional images. We include all mediums. The audience ranges from art lovers looking for more interesting work, to art lovers that have not yet realized that passion.
By artists' request, the show will now stay open until 9pm on Friday and Saturday. Bring battery lights, rent lights, or limited electric is available.
An art fair for people looking for something a little different.

Our move to September from July has resulted in a very enjoyable event with moderate temperatures and a lingering vibe. This year we've adjusted our show hours to take advantage of the after-work crowd on Friday and the evening concert hours with a later opening time for a easier day for our artists.
"Hospitality staff and activities were absolutely fantastic!! We have never had such support at another event."
"I’m happy with my sales, the customers, and the camaraderie of other artists at this event, so I will be applying again next year. I also thought the artist hospitality was pretty phenomenal and appreciate that greatly! The customers were lovely and made the event a blast."

Bentonville, Arkansas
Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art
Saturday & Sunday 10am-4pm
85 Artists
Deadline: June 8, 2025
Application fee: $40/Booth fee starts at $600
Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is proud to announce its second annual art fair, taking place October 4 & 5, 2025, in Bentonville, Arkansas. This fair offers a unique and elevated experience compared to other regional craft fairs. This event goes beyond just showcasing art – it creates an immersive environment that highlights high-quality, curated works from both local and national artists.
By being hosted at Crystal Bridges, a renowned cultural institution, we elevate the event to a higher level of sophistication and accessibility, attracting art enthusiasts and collectors who may not typically attend traditional craft fairs. In doing so, we fill the gap of providing a refined, artistic platform that fosters deeper connections, supports artists at all stages of their careers, and brings the community together in an inspiring and dynamic way.
The art fair will represent modern and traditional artists. Artists from across the United States will be selected to showcase their fine artworks in various mediums, including ceramics, wood, textiles, glass, drawing, painting, mixed media, jewelry, photography, metal/iron, and sculpture.
In addition to showcasing the Art Fair across our stunning outdoor grounds, we’re excited to expand this year’s experience with an indoor venue in our elegant Great Hall.
Furthermore, this year’s event will feature a teen art component, highlighting emerging young talent and giving the next generation of artists a platform to shine.
Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art offers a unique blend of art, architecture, and nature. The museum is nestled in a 120-acre Ozark forested ravine, featuring a series of pavilions designed by renowned architect Moshe Safdie. These structures are connected by glass bridges spanning two spring-fed ponds, creating a harmonious integration of the built environment with the natural landscape.

Park Forest, Illinois
Village Green and Main Street in Downtown
Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm
80+ Artists
Deadline: April 30, 2025
Application fee: $35/Booth fee: $175
The Park Forest Art Fair is the second oldest continuously juried fine art fair in the Chicagoland region. It is an exceptionally artist-friendly fair with helpers to assist with loading and reloading, and distributing bottled water all day. A continental breakfast is provided both days and Board Members provide a wonderful dinner for the artists on Saturday evening at which time prizes are announced. The Board also added a healthy brown bag snack on Saturday since many artists could not take the time to visit the food vendors.
There are prizes totaling $3,000. Because Tall Grass is a not-for-profit and gets to know its artists well, it is sensitive to the impact of the costs of participating in an art fair. For that reason, it has kept its registration fee at $175 through Covid and beyond. Tall Grass feels it is especially important to keep the cost of the art fair registration low during the present economic environment. The Village is very supportive of the art fair. On Saturday, it will host a music fest on the stage in front of the Tall Grass Gallery. The village also sponsors several purchase prizes.
This year, the art fair plans to include a sidewalk art event. The arrangement has been varied to provide more space between tents.
To all the wonderful people who worked so hard to put together such a great art fair; I have always thought that you, at Tall Grass, accommodate the vendors most thoughtfully. Tall Grass art fair is a wonderful experience for participating artists, art aficionados and the Park Forest community.
Sue Wade, jewelry artist
The Park Forest Art Fair was simply amazing. I have never experienced an art fair such as this before. The attention and support given to the artists made one feel like royalty. I enjoyed the breakfast and was more than grateful for the spread that was laid before us for dinner. The award ceremony left me speechless. I have never experienced that level of appreciation for vendors at an Art Fair before. Wow!!! Is all I can say.
Tara McGee, Bayete Jewelry Collection LLC
This Tall Grass Art Fair was at its best for a number of reasons. First of all, the weather was great! Secondly, art lovers found so much to love. Third, Tall Grass did an amazing job. Last, but not least, I made plenty of sales. Thank you, Tall Grass Arts Association.
Patricia Stewart
This was a great fair with enthusiastic shoppers and talented artists. Don Widmer, Paper artist
This longstanding art fair is small but extremely well run and always quality and diverse art. This year, sales exceeded all my previous shows, even with moderate crowds. I recommend this venue. Ellen Grenier Bevill, handwoven fiber arts
