What about this logo? Does it work for you?

Perhaps you have seen our notices about the new list we are building, "America's Best Art Fairs", which we are developing as an aid to people who love to attend art fairs to collect art. We've been working on this idea for a couple of years and we are getting near the time to roll out the survey.

Here are four logos we have developed for the survey. Which one do you like the best?

  1.  8869114890?profile=original
  2. 8869115860?profile=original
  3. 8869116073?profile=original
  4. 8869116087?profile=original

We are also open to suggestions.

Deadline: September 1.

P.S. We have had an amazing # of nominating submissions for the survey. Many thanks to you. If you haven't filled it out yet. Here it is: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/TPRSSYS

If you know people who love to buy art at art fairs will you also please forward it to them?

  • I vote for  #4

  • I like it.  Clean, uncluttered, clear.  Good job!

  • Number four looks like a prize to those of us in the biz, but I would want some opinions from the public also since it is aimed at them.  Another suggestion is to create a version that works tiny so that you can put it beside listings without filling up your page.  For that reason I like the tine triangle around it to make it more clear.

  • my second choice would be this one.

  • I like it Connie.  Easy to read, not too cluttered.  Classy.

  • Here's the latest version: 301656230?profile=RESIZE_320x320

  • vote for #2 anyone knows that the pyramid shape ( the one that goes around the edge of #2)is a powerful shape and eye catcher if you look at them all again with a marketing eye you will see this. Scrolls and curly cues add to confusion when reading something. Straight forward and clean is the best way to go.

  • It is ArtFairCalendar.com that is sponsoring this, Geri, because we are working on putting together a list for art collectors - not artists. AFC is our outreach to bring people to attend the shows and buy art - in fact, our first and primary mission. It gets the most "hits" of all our sites. It is where people go when they are looking for art fairs to attend. Artists have other sources: word of mouth, Sunshine Artist and Art Fair Sourcebook. Art buyers don't get their info there. They get it from AFC and we want to help them find the best shows.

It will be added to that website as a "page". AFC is (to the best of my knowledge) the only nationwide listing of art fairs, so we want it online with good "key words" so people can find the shows. Also, we have nearly 50,000 subscribers to the AFC emails.
