Call for Artists, Making Money at Juried Art Fairs, Craft Shows and Festivals

Greg might be unaware of his fame today, but I was just visiting the Collectors of Wood Art website HERE HERE HERE and discovered he's the featured artist on their home page. I don't know how often that feature changes, but it doesn't really matter all that much. What does matter is that Greg is a member of Collectors of Wood Art and that his work is being featured.

I'm a fan of that site and organization anyway and certainly a fan of Greg and his work, and I may someday be a member of that group. There's awesome work in that group and it can be seen on their website.

So for those of you who like to look at fine work besides your own, check out the website. You'll better your work for doing it--if you're paying attention. And while you're there, check out Greg's wonderful work. WOOHOO!

Thanks for posting this, Barrie. Very cool, Greg. I've seen your work online quite a bit but hope someday to see it in person.

One of the things I've tried to do with my sites is to feature various artists, changing it at least once a month, but it hasn't happened for awhile now, but wish it could be worked in.

Thanks for heads up Barrie... I hadn't looked at the site recently and didn't realize I was the featured artist...until I just read this post... it's got my chin a grinnin'... I sure do appreciate your positive comments. It's always good to know that someone besides my wife and our cats like my work.

Feature away, Connie. Feature away.

Greg, I'm always stoked about other artists work and success. It's my pleasure getting to meet you last year and seeing your work in Pensacola. Sorry I won't be coming south anymore where I'd be certain to run into you. C'est la vie. It's nice to just bump into your work on the world wide web. I've thought about being a member of Collectors of Wood Art myself. I might do it someday. I'd be in good company, fer sher. WOOHOO!

Very nice work Greg.  If I was able to pdroduce something like that I would have a very hard time selling it.

Thanks Barrie for posting this.

Thanks so much everyone...! We are all so fortunate to be able to do what we love doing and be able to express to others our creative part of our lives.

Greg's work is absolutely beautiful. He deserves to be the featured artist, win awards and sell out entirely at every show. I've never seen anything like the boxes he creates. Just gorgeous.
