The Philadelphia area's newest holiday tradition, the Franklin Square Holiday Market joins Franklin Square's annual Electrical Spectacle to create a fun filled family holiday celebration to include talented handmade food, art, design, fashion, and craft artisans.

The annual holiday event began in 2013 at the ever-popular Franklin Square.  Sparked by Benjamin Franklin's imagination, Franklin Square's Electrical Spectacle: A Holiday Light Show is the key to holiday fun in Franklin Square.  More than 50,000 lights create two alternating shows every 30 minutes from 4:30pm-8pm.

Winter time fun envelops all of Franklin Square to celebrate the holiday season, culminating in the traditional family-friendly New Year's Eve celebration.  Franklin Square celebrates the holiday season in grand style with entertainment, attractions, holiday music playing on the Parx Liberty Carousel, warming stations in Philly Mini Golf, and seasonal fare.  Electrical Spectacle is a free light show that illuminates the Square nightly from November 13-December 31.

For 2014, the addition of a Holiday Market organized by PHAIR brings a local shopping experience for artisan goods and handmade wares to create a complete holiday event for the whole family to enjoy!

Attendance in 2013 reached over 135,000 attendees, with over 90% saying they will return the next year.  We anticipate a significant increase in attendance with the addition of the Holiday Market for 2014.
