  • Indeed it has and I've already read it and commented...I'm blaming the heat.

  • Christina, the review has been posted.
  • Lovely photos, Richard, there's nothing quite as majestic as a mountain range...thanks.  Looking forward to the full review.

  • The last two "adventure pictures" before I post the Review. There was fresh snow on the Tetons as we left the Snake River Valley today. On the way up the west side of Togwotee Pass we saw this young grizzle bear digging grubs along the road.301676649?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024301676854?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024

  • I love having a pet but the I hate the end part so much that I haven't let myself get another animal.  I can't stand the pain of losing them.   Sorry you have that in the near future Richard.  Barrie, sorry you have had so much of it, too.  Tough times, that is for sure.

Richard, gorgeous photos.  I would love to get out that way some day.  Those mountains beat anything we have in the flat land.

  • Both of our geriatric dogs are at home and we have been checking in with pet sitter and his dad. It is really sad to loose these buddies and family members. Sebastian the boxer is loosing the use of his hind legs due to degenerative meylopathy and Shadow the malamute/lab mix is just very old and arthritic. We are just trying token them as comfortable as possible but know we will have to put the down soon. That is what has made this trip somewhat sad for us.
  • We'll catch up with you sometime soon. Have a safe trip home. We travel with dogs as well and have for many years, but we lost two to age just this year. Devastating, really. We had traveled with four Maltese with combined weight at 25 pounds, but our 15 year old died in Pensacola last year the week before my wife tried to die in Macon, GA, then 12 year old Simone died in February, and then 12 year old Heaven, a.k.a. Miss McNabb, died in early April. From the original pack we have Pepe, Simone's litter mate, and now Peeka Boogie Loo, or Peekaboo Boogaloo, who was born Dec 29. She's a Maltese poodle and a little bigger than the normal Maltese.

  • Our next show is Golden, CO in August, then back up to Estes Park Labor day. I am behind on studio work. Barry, we have two dogs 11 and 14 on death's door and wont have time to visit in Dubois. It's 12 hours to Franktown. Maybe some other time.

  • I'll be in Dubois Tuesday. You going home over Togwotee Pass, or Bondurant?

  • WOW, Richard!  Love the photos.  Hope the whole show was great for you.  We're headed for Yellowstone in 2 weeks.  We love to see the wildlife there, but moose are on the scarce side usually.   We're on the wait list for Cheeseman Park in Denver for the end of the month.  We'll be in Bozeman for the Sweetpea Art Fair 1st. weekend in August.  Will you be at either?
