Paso Robles Art Show - 2019

Great Show.

The promoter for the Paso Robles Art Show, Steve Powers , has created an absolutely beautiful art show in the wonderful city of Paso Robles.

Imagine you are in the most fantastic and beautiful Zinfandel, Bordeaux, and Cabernet Sauvignon region of the State of California (Napa – Chardonnay – yum).

Imagine a weekend selling fine art in a beautiful park in the center of Paso Robles, CA.

I bring my Kinetic Fish sculptures ( www.kineticfish.com ) to the show, along with at least five pieces of my abstract sculpture – the people who own the wineries do come to the show, and do buy fine art.

If you are needing or wanting a fine art show to do, Paso Robles, this is the show to do.

  • You are welcome to do as you wish, I’m not trying to change your mind just give people the knowledge to decide for themselves. All I can say is I won’t be applying again.
  • Hi Vincent. Steve Powers is a great show promoter. The reason he can't refund your money is that he has already spent the money on: Advertising, City fees, Staffing and employees, etc. This is an unprecedented emergency for everyone out there, us artists and promoters. Steve does not need defending - and I will continue to support him.

  • I am relatively new do doing festivals but I think it's unfair what Steve Powers is doing now with the "Paso Robles Art in the park." They are canceling the festival due to the Coronavirus which is no ones fault but they are not giving refunds, the only thing they are willing to do is give a 50% discount to another festival. He runs:
    • Paso Robles Art in the Park October 17-18 2020
    • Paso Robles Art in the Park April 17-18 2021.
    • Arroyo Grande Art in the Park August 15-16 2020
I don't recommend applying to any of these shows for that reason. I just don't think it's fair that the artists should be the ones that have to absorb the losses.
