I have recently been invited to see the jury process for the first time.
This may sound crazy, but what do I do, I am interested in seeing this.
This will be my first real jury show.
I know it will be educational for me as well.
What about dress, is there a dress code to this kind of thing?
Will other artists(not the judges)be there too?
Can I talk to them afterward?
What do I do when I get there?
I guess I am a little nervous.

With all the serious talk, Jacquelyn, your comment was too funny. I am still laughing!
"like", "like"
Connie, we need a "like" button. Jacquelyn's post deserves a 'like'
Forgot to mention, I like to bring a notebook to take notes. It goes soooooooooo fast it becomes a blur. I also like to bring water, long long process. If you can find out when they are dong your medium that may be helpful so you can make sure that you see your work and competition.
Go for sure. You will learn so much. Larry is right, don't worry about what you wear. You will most likely be sitting next to other artists also watching the process. During breaks you can talk to the other artists, otherwise just watch and listen.
Which show and when? Usually they are open to anyone who wants to attend but they only send the information to the artists that apply.
It's an amazing experience to see the images of all the artist projected.
There's no dress code and I would say that it's not appropriate to question the jurors about their decisions. I have many interviews with jurors on my web site where they give tips on how to improve your presentation.
