  • I disagree. People who attend are there to see the art. For years I tried to get into Columbus when it was at it's peak. The two times I did get in, it was no better or worse than Three Rivers.

The only hassle with Three Rivers is the long dolly to set up, especially if your space is in the park.

The plaza spaces are better than the park spaces, though a lot of artists say they do well in the park.

Wind is always a problem at Three Rivers. Sometimes no matter how much weights you use it's not enough. I recommend at least 40 pounds per corner of your booth.

I offer to rent my Pro Panels to artists each week at Three Rivers. If you're flying in or just don't want to travel with panels let me know. I also sponsor an award of my services each period and shoot booth pictures if needed.

  • Three Rivers is a very logistically difficult show to do and I'm not sure people are there primarily to see/buy art. I'd go to Columbus for sure. No question about it.

  • Jimmy have you looked at the websites for those shows?  You might find a little about those shows by looking through the websites.  Also, you can put those shows into the search bar above to see if those shows have been discussed here.  I know they both have.  Check that out, too, to see if there are any comments there that might help you make your decision.
