I am in a few shows which have judging for art awards in a central building. I don t know how to choose what to drop off. My largest work? Most expensive? Least likely to sell in my booth? My personal favorite? Most popular with buyers? It seems like a tough decision about what is likely to win and what isn t in my booth. Open to all ideas. Thanks. Sharon

Sharon, I have heard that exact thing. Sometimes an edgy piece that would sell to a certain group is a good piece for the judging. Those pieces usually take much more thought and time to create and that is why they are good choices for judging.
One rule in the art fair industry is that what juries well doesn't sell well and what sells well doesn't jury well. Taking that into consideration, go with the most artistic piece that you would consider jury material. And also take into consideration if the piece will be missing from the booth during selling hours.
