I had a show in Salina, KS this weekend. Friday night, I was t-boned in the driver's side front by a drunk driver, though below legal limit, so he was not arrested. I was on a main road and he did not even stop at the cross street stop sign before plowing right into me full speed. How does one miss seeing a large white van with blue stripes running down it!? My driver’s side front suspension needs to be placed and door repaired or replaced. Frame appears to…

This year was the second year for the art fair at the Blue Water Festival (Port Huron, MI) and my first at it. The Blue Water Festival is for the big boats for regatta and has music stages, and a carnival. There were 42 artists present with a wide range of quality. The show was Friday (11am-9pm) and Saturday (11am-8pm). Total booth cost is $200. Electricity was free, so you could run lights and fans!!
Set up was supposed to start at 11pm on Thursday. I arrived at 11:15pm to a…

Weather was the big concern for the weekend. There were chances of off-shore rain on Saturday and the cold front on Sunday. We received rain both days in the mid-afternoon. At a small…

This was my first year at this show. It is an art festival with music as a large component. Many people were there for the music as well as looking at the art.
The show runs from 10-7 on Saturday and 10-5 on Sunday. Setup is on Saturday. If you had an even number booth you could set up starting at 6:30 am. Odds could set up after 8:15 am. More shade can be found around the square, but I was located the furthest from the square in full sun. They feed you breakfast and lunch if…

This was my 2nd year at Mayfaire. It is in Lakeland, Florida, around Lake Morton. It is a home show from me, within an hour’s drive. It is usually hot and a fair to good show for most.…
