Painting: Acrylic, Oil, Wood and Ink on Canvas and Wood.This painting belongs to a series of paintings reflecting the theme of 'communication' or 'contact'. This theme has always fascinated me, for it describes the infinite variables that people choose to express themselves. We all tend to call self-expression a form of communication. It is the manner and form, the method and style, the direction, the body language, the range of exposure and degree of openness, closeness, avoidance, contradiction, etc. etc. that describes some, just some of the characteristics of how, when, why and what we try to say and how we give expression to our thoughts and feelings. In this painting, I have explored the relationship of some of these special characteristics that defines our personal humanity.
