I love vintage patterns. This one is straight out of the 1950s. I made a coat from velveteen that I enhanced with abstract swirling patterns (ala Vincent van Gogh's Starry Night). Then I modified the center-front closure by adding a silk scarf to be worn through two buttonholes. Voila! One of a kind piece of wearable art!
