Painting: Acrylic, Ink, Paint and Gesso on Canvas and Other.This painting is constructed with two canvases, one small on top of the larger surface. The smaller one is composed of 24 boxes each with a structure, a texture, a rhythm, an energy of line and paint and an individual story. The larger surface frames, molds, spotlights and has a surface of swirls of paint that energize the inside world of the raised canvas with these boxes. The painting itself can be perceived as a metaphor of how we compartmentalize our lives into professions we have had and still wish to have, into friends, lovers, hobbies, dreams, memories, and even unfulfilled expectations each of us fantasizes about and still wishes to actualize.
