i was wondering if anyone has any experience with the One of a Kind Show and Sale Chicago . I am a ceramic artist and was looking into this show but so far i see reviews by mainly jewelry artist. I am wondering if this would be a good show fo
The Manayunk Arts Festival takes place along one very long street in Manayunk, a funky, hip village adjoining Philadelphia. I had thought it was a neighborhood IN Philadelphia, but people who live there said otherwise.
Norfolk, Virginia has named October 11 - 19 "Norfolk Visual Arts Week". The city has recognized the economic impact and the importance of visual arts in the city. The week will kick off with the 52nd Annual Ocean View Art Show, October 11-12. Octo
I've been looking at pop up canopies, specifically the Vitabri V3.
Does anyone have any experience using one. I did find an old thread on AFI about it. If I'm not mistaken, it looks to be extremely sturdy, probably as sturdy as a Trimline. Sets up in
Nuts and bolts for this show can be found under artshowreviews.com by clicking the above link and going to Colorado Shows. There is more demographic information on Estes Park there in other reviews and blogs for previous years. We did
Just out of curiosity, what shows / art fairs are you most looking forward to doing this year and why? Are there some that you intentionally avoid? How come?
We did the show, having remembered it from it's old location and it used to be so good, it really was the "gold coast"... New location at Grant park is gorgeous, a lot of room and nicely laid out but they seemed off their game from what I remembered
On Saturday, May 31, I'll be a guest on the Rudy Maxa Travel Show and the topic is one of my favorites, "Art Fair Tourism." This is a nationally syndicated show so it will be heard in all US markets.
The first segment will focus on travel in the US a
I thought I saw something on here a few months back about a convention (in the Northern Pacific area) where people who work art fairs could go to learn about products & whatnot. Now, however, I can't seem to find it, & I can't seem to wo
This small show, June 14 and 15, is put on by the New Milford Historical Society. It's situated on the green in downtown New Milford, a lovely, well-off, traditional New England town. It's in western CT, relatively close to Danbury. Lots of New Yorke
Art / Vendor Pop-Up Tent 10x10 , white vendor tent with black brown screen sides. Two years ago, when I was researching the best art tent solution, I chose the lightest, sturdiest, easiest to put up/take down and, best value I could find.
My name is Nicole and I have always been creative; dabbling in everything from sketching, jewelry making, scrapbooking, floral arranging, to digital design - all of which I incorporated into my own wedding over 9yrs ago.
How much weight is the appropriate amount for a tent? I'm a jewelry artist and won't have Pro Panels to help. I'm looking at purchasing a Show Off or Lite Dome 10 x 10 tent and know that many shows don't allow stakes, just weights.
Has anyone had a Christmas in July sale in their home? Too hot to have an outside venue here in Texas. Tell me what you think and if you have any ideas.
I posted this in another forum, but I think that may have been the wrong place for it, as this forum seems to be more closely linked to the topic of my question...
I'm completely new to fairs and I'm about to start sending out applicat
Just a heads up in case you didn't get the e-mail. Square has redesigned their card reader and you need to replace the one you have by June 1st. At that time you will also upgrade the app.
To get a new card reader, just sign in, click on your name an
Happy to have been accepted to Mt Gretna, but I didn't expect to be so I have some head spinning going on. Any advice on where to stay? I've read discussions on the show here, I know the load in is a bear. Anything else I should be prepared for? The
