Linda Duke, wife and partner of Marc Duke, who publishes Art-Linx, passed away from neuro-endocrine carcinoma after a two year struggle on April 29, 2014.
From her husband's tribute:
As cofounder of Art-Linx and its various elements, Linda served as the pragmatic voice of reason that guided our endeavors. She understood artists and their foibles and made certain what we offered met their needs. Without her steady hand, the world of art festival artists would be smaller in all its dimensions...
We met in Florida, one balmy night four decades ago, and from that moment were never apart. Our path took us to every corner of America, wherever an art show beckoned, and to distant lands. We raised children and saw them beget their own.
Our sincere sympathies go out to Marc, one of the people who makes our business go round. We are a tight community and just about everyone of us knows someone who knows Marc. This is a loss for all of us.
