we got the ez up. it was cost effective enough for now, but we had issues trying to set up in the wind and rain of florida! also, the side walls were flapping around the entire time, knocking up against the walls, and the artwork was shaking…

hi! no i have never done a show with my jewelry (aside from having it IN fashion shows other people have done). and i have not applied to or even heard of the crafty supermarket.
i see the booth fee is low (which has been my problem) so…

My error, Jenna. I just get nervous when I fear big production shops are coming into the art fairs. Best wishes with the two events - I echo Paula -- Sam's Club is a good source.

Thank you for your response. I think we are going with a costco version for now and then upgrade. While I can locate lots of rental companies in FL for the tents, I can't find a single one to do walls!!

re-reading my message (especially with the spelling error) i guess it was a little unclear. the art shows are DIFFERENT weekends. on is on feb 13-14 and the other is the folling (following) weekend nov 21- 22.
more importantly - any help…

- new york art expo 2008. i went to support abstract metal artist nicholas yust, for whom i do graphic design and marketing work. the show was an amazing experience and i met so many artists and people in the business. i love seeing new art and new faces, and having the time to take it all in!

- meeting other artists! i love seeing new art and learning the story behind it. people have so many different backgrounds and personalities, and it is interesting to see how it is portrayed in their work.
- Best show ever and why
- cincy pinkfest, breast cancer awareness show. selling art for a cause gave a whole new meaning to "art show." it was great to see the collaboration and well-meaning of both the artists and the buyers. a good day overall.

- art expo las vegas 2008. i think there were more artists than attendees....
