"I doubt that the canopy type or brand  has an influence on sales.   I do think having a carpet has a big influence. Walking on to a carpet when entering a booth gives a classy feeling over walking on concrete or grass.  The…"

Fo Sale..... Shaker Woods Festival Booth

For Sale…. Shaker Woods  Festival BoothThe Shaker Woods Craft Festival is always rated in the top 50. It's held the first three weekends in August in Columbiana Ohio. You must build your own booth in a rustic style.  No canopies allowed.  I'm selling my booth for $800 and semi retiring.  The booth has roll down tarps for complete enclosure.   You must first apply and be accepted into the festival.  Then go thru management to buy booth number  63.  Great location,  $800.  For more information…See More

"You cant go wrong with a Trimline.  I have personally gone in the opposite direction. I retired Light Dome after some 25 years and got an EZ UP ( EuroMax).   I'm now doing shows my self after 35 years.  It is way to…"

Barry Shandler commented on Reid Watts's blog post Is your pricing keepin up with inflation?
"Definitely are price points.  I had some  $25 bottom price items and didn't sell many.  I reduced it to $19 and sold.  Same for $60 to $49 and $115 to $99.  Like Robert says  $20, $50 and $100 price…"

Like Lite Domes

Posted on August 30, 2012 at 7:25am 0 Comments

I have a 10X10 and a  6X10 ( old Ann Arbor State Street Model )  Lite Dome.  I really like them , they hold up in high winds, dont pool water in the rain , and the company is very helpful.    Both are easier to set up with two people but can be done alone. You do need a three step folding stool to make the job much easier.  I use  a PVC tube weight  filled with lead shot for each cornor. .     Do get all four sides zippered  and an awning zipper as they make life easier in the long run. …
