2027 marks the 23nd annual event for the top-ranking Artisphere festival in Greenville, SC. Despite its short history, Artisphere has distinguished itself as both a regional and national highlight.  

The Artisphere outdoor festival takes place in Downtown Greenville on Main Street and throughout Falls Park on the Reedy River. 

A supportive, art-loving community, quaint outdoor downtown setting, notable on-site artist amenities and hospitality, and over 500 volunteers make the three-day event an enjoyable experience for exhibiting artists and the public alike.

Renowned artist hospitality includes complimentary daily meals, snacks & beverages, convenient set-up, parking, security, booth sitters, and reduced hotel rates.

AWARDS

$15,000 in prize money will be distributed at the festival. Awards will be given to Best in Show, 1st Place 2D, 2nd Place 2D, 1st Place 3D, 2nd Place 3D, and four Awards of Excellence. All awards are distributed at the discretion of the onsite judges.

The application form for the inaugural Marie Zimmermann Legacy Grants is open through October 8, don't miss your chance to apply.

Thanks to generous support from The Marie & John Zimmermann Fund, SNAG is welcoming submissions.

These grants will be awarded to early- and mid-career metalsmiths for artist studio upgrades, including specialized equipment and tools.

Up to $4,000 will be awarded through grants ranging from $500–$2,000. Awards are anticipated to include one $2,000 grant, one $1,000 grant, and two $500 grants, though the final distribution may vary.  Awardees will be selected by professionals in the field.

Recipients will be notified no later than November 2, 2026

The Festival will showcase exceptional fine art and craft exhibitors, culinary arts, hands-on activities for families, and a variety of live performances over the two days.

If you spent the last few years bracing for a 1099-K to show up after $600 in sales, you can stop bracing. That threshold never took full effect, and the law has now moved in the opposite direction.

The Regional Artist-in-Residence program at Contemporary Craft allows artists living within 100 miles of Pittsburgh, free access to fully equipped studios, CC staff support, and the opportunity to interface with the public while creating a body of work.  Regional residencies are 3 months long.  In exchange for the free usage of Contemporary Craft’s state of the art studio spaces, the Artist-in-Residence will be asked to engage with the public while working in the studio.  President Donald Trump’s tariffs have led to a tangle of red tape and extra expenses for Canadian wool producers and hobbyists, and some are walking away from their U.S. customers altogether.

Judy Enright Smith, who owns the Wabi Sabi yarn shop in Ottawa, said she’s running out of patience. The last time her American supplier visited, she wore an “Elbows Up” T-shirt.

“At first, it was business,” she said. “Now, it’s personal.”

The U.S. has imposed 50 per cent tariffs on greasy wool imports and some finished wool products, affecting Canadian wool producers who ship their product south to be scoured.  Read more

• Open only to working artists who exhibit at art fairs, craft shows, and retail events in the US this year.

• All entries must be original work created by the artist submitting the entry. Work created offshore, assembled by studio help, or AI-generated work is not allowed.

Coconut Grove Arts & Historical Association is now accepting applications for the 63rd Annual Coconut Grove Arts Festival — one of the nation's most prestigious outdoor juried fine arts shows. For 63 years, this iconic South Florida event has brought world-class art to the charming village of Coconut Grove, just south of Downtown Miami. With its idyllic waterfront setting and festive atmosphere, the Festival continues to thrive as one of the country's premier celebrations of fine art.

The Coconut Grove Arts Festival is one of the nation's top outdoor art shows, held every Presidents Day weekend along Miami's scenic Biscayne Bay waterfront.

Over 275 juried artists — working in painting, photography, sculpture, jewelry, and more — showcase and sell work to an estimated 60,000–80,000 attendees. Reported artist sales exceed $4 million for the weekend, reflecting the festival's engaged, art-buying crowd.
