Does anyone have any experience with the Art and Book Fair being held in Wichita, KS May 11-12? It's billed as the "fifty-fourth annual" this year so it seem stable enough and "will focus on the presentation of high quality arts and crafts". I did it years ago (last time was 2006), when it ran along with the River Festival and it was pretty good for me. But now I understand that it's no longer the same weekend. I heard that in 2008 it was very poorly attended and someone posted on this site that in 2011 it wasn't very well attended and most of the people were there for the books. I would like to know, too, if anyone has feedback about it, especially from last year, because I was considering doing it this year. It's indoors! That is always a plus.
