  • Oh no! I forgot to close it -- actually about another 60 have come in since the official "close" and I've been too busy to start the tabulating. (Glad you got in Barrie Lynn).

  • Survey Monkey let me do the survey a few hours ago. Hopefully the results can be part of the final tally. I've just been very busy. WOOHOO!

  • Just checked the stats at Survey Monkey -- the surveys are coming in fast today! Guess it is just like not paying your taxes until April 15, or applying to an art fair at the last minute. Thanks everyone -- the news: The Ann Arbor Street Art Fair is coming up fast on Winter Park. Where are the St. Louis, Ft. Worth, La Quinta and Cherry Creek voters?

  • A great day for art fair surveys -- they are really coming in and we're blowing past last year's numbers.  Looks like Winter Park or Park Forest will be #1 -- that is what is called "getting out the vote."

  • I had complaints last year because I was asking the patrons what was the best art fair and not the artists. I was asking the patrons because the purpose of the survey is not to tell artists which one is the best but to get patron feedback to bring quality attendance to the shows and publicize those shows to attract buyers.

But this year I made two surveys. Patrons outnumber artists in the responses 15 to 1. Then again my list has many more patrons on it than artists and when you think about it the attendance at the shows well outweighs the number of artists -- most of the time ;)

  • How many people took last year's survey?  I have seen some complain about the results and I wonder if they voted.

You can't be heard if you don't vote.
