  • Thanks for your quick response. I think I'll pass this. Saw the reviews and the comments about wind and rain and heat and low prices, etc. I appreciate your input. WOOHOO!

  • Well, that was my first show. My work was priced a bit high for the audience I think. But in 2015 I was skunked. I left a review on ArtShowReviews. Basically it's a huge crowd out for a Sunday stroll. If you have piles of work under $40 in good variety, you have a shot. If your work is more in the $200+ range, it's a roll of the dice.
  • How did this go for you, Larry? I might be interested in applying for this show, and if I get in, I suppose I'll pay for the $475 booth on Main St. Got any news? Anyone else?

  • I'm in chanhassen.
  • Will do, Gloria, thanks! I appreciate it. How far from the river walk do you live? I'm in Andover so it's "local" for me too.

  • Larry, let me know where you end up.  I'll come over one day and pick on you!  If you need anything while there, please let me know!

  • Grabbed what I could on the main drag. Several areas were sold out. I have a friend who always opts for the least-expensive space, but I wanted some additional input. We shall see where it lands me. This actually my first-ever art fair, so I am keeping expectations humble. Thanks for the advice!

  • Yeah, the main street area is the best, in my opnion. The show is really long and the park is at one end, and not near most of the parking.

  • NO ... sorry, we still call the Central Avenue corridor Stone Arch ... do the Central Avenue part.  Father Hennepin park gets less traffic.  Most people will be coming from the Stone Arch Bridge area (near Central Avenue) and walking down through the cars and back through the art show.  There are tons of condos along that stretch and gets a lot of traffic and, last year, lots of buyers too.

  • Thank you Gloria! So, you prefer Fr. Hennepin Park? As opposed to further toward Central Ave. by the car show?
