St. Pete by Art Endeavors-need info please

Hi Everyone,

I signed up through Zapp for a Howard Alan show that takes place this coming December at St. Pete. It's an American Craft Endeavor show. A friend told me I shouldn't do it because it has a lot of buy sells. Has anyone done it or know anyone who has? I would really appreciate your input.

Thanks a bunch in advance.

  • I thought so, but my hubby wanted me to re-check. Thanks again!!!!!

  • The show Dec 5-6 you originally asked about is the ACE show.

  • Geoff, Forgive me for bugging you. My husband wants me to make sure you're talking about the St. Pete Beach Corey Area show and not a St. Petersburg show. The one I signed up for takes place Dec. 5-6. Thank you again!

  • Thank you again. Are you doing the ACE show this year? Hope to see you, if so.

  • Paragon Events has done a fine art show downtown St. Pete for the last couple years, but not in December. It is very high quality, and more expensive to do.  Draws a completely different crowd than the craft show ACE does on St. Pete Beach.

ACE also has a St. Pete Beach show in June.  I don't know of any other one in December.

  • Geoff, thanks so much for writing back. I am from TN, but usually do a couple of Florida shows and wanted one more, if possible. Is the show you do going to take place Dec. 5-6? My friend said there was more than one St. Pete Beach show. Do you know if there's more than one?

  • I'm a photographer with lots of FL-friendly subjects (birds/landscapes).  I've done this show a couple of times over the last six years and it is OK (not phenomenal) for me and my work.  I do VERY few of Howard's ACE shows--like, maybe one every other year--but when I do, it's usually this one. Very easy and relaxed show on a weekend without many other shows going on, and it's not very expensive for the area.  It's probably not going to be a huge moneymaker, but if you are free, and in the area, it might be worth a shot.
