I'm an oil painter, and did the later-in-the-summer Montauk show. I had a terrible show in terms of sales, and paid through the nose for housing. I met some nice people, and got a commission afterwards, but I doubt I'd do it again. Also, I have a tall van, and getting there was very difficult.
