Call for Artists, Making Money at Juried Art Fairs, Craft Shows and Festivals

(This is not an advertisement for the Randolph Street Market)

I love it when art fairs/festivals/pop ups/markets really get the vibe of attracting customers to attend their events. I stole this image off of artist Angie Consalvo's email to share with you.

What do you think? Do you have any images which will get those art buyers out the door and into your booth?

No, but having seen this I will have to re-think. Cool ad for sure. Cuts through the clutter of so many others.

Maybe!  Depends on them details.

Let’s say you’re not the artist. Let’s say you were someone who occasionally attended Art fairs. Do you think you would want to attend the show?

Well, whether as an artist or shopper, it seems more "modern" themed than I am used to.  I prefer vintage, antique, repurposed type things and events.  So I am leaning towards "no".

Would I want to attend the show based on the ad? I don't know how well it reflects the kind of show it is but to me it does communicate excitement and an event you don't want to miss. So yes as a patron it gets my attention and I would to attend.

If I was a booth artist I would welcome ANY way that gets patrons in the door.

BUT as Cindy Welch points out it there are those who prefer another kind of show so it does not reach all audiences.
