Wednesday Art Market is a NEW weekly art market taking place at Chicago's famous Daley Plaza on Wednesdays starting in May 2016. All media of art will be featured at each single day Wednesday Art Market. Artists may participate in one, some or all of these urban art markets. These mid-week fests give artists a non-conventional showing and selling opportunity between their weekend festivals.

This will be a great opportunity to sell your art outside of typical weekend festivals and a chance to reach a broader audience. Be face to face with the tourists who love our city and be in the heart of it all. All media and all price points are welcome!

  • I do not think so mid week has been tried in my area and it was not a success. In this day and age people are very busy during the week and those that are not are just looking for something to do. So I really hope no one dose it for that money. I might have given it a try because something that did not work in one area may work in another.
  • I understand that, Jan. Who I think this might work for is artists who are in the area between shows nearby and might see about making money mid-week. It is a great location, but will they come and will they buy?

  • Great concept but $175 a day when most market places are under $50 a day or $100 and something for a block of days. But this is the promoter I have a problem with and to which I have to say is I guess she dose not make enough money in her eyes which I call greed. Would have loved to try it but will not pay that kind of price to someone that could have made it more reasonably priced.
