Okay - I logged into Zapplication today and found out I was invited for the Funky Ferndale show in September. But on that same weekend, I was also invited to the Wells Street Wine Crush in Chicago. I had already accepted my invite to the Well Street Wine Crush. I have friends in Chicago and it will be their first time seeing me at an art fair (they do have some of my pieces in their home). I've been meaning to break into the Chicago market - so we'll see how it goes. Hopefully, I made the right decision...

But yes, this is only my second year. I am experimenting with shows and I'm a bit saturated in the Detroit area (for I live in Ypsilanti) - so that was another consideration...
Hopefully you did, Scott. If this was all about "the bottom line", I'd say maybe not the best choice, but you are beginning in the business and seeking your best audience and developing your line of work. I am not saying you are a beginning photographer, but this business goes way beyond having good technical skills and ideas. Right? You'd better give us a report on this when you get back, plus photos, because it should be pretty interesting.
