  • Thanks Michael.  I have done the ACC St. Paul show for years. The first yr I did the show they had this "mentor" person that I could address questions.  Seriously, I do not know why he signed up for this because he mostly acted like I was asking super dumb questions, even tho I just wanted to know the lay of the land.  Have been doing shows for 35 yrs so I'm not a newbie - Just newbie to that area.  I'm sure he was the exception.  I just had to vent here alittle and I actually shud have vented to the ACC staff!  Thanks for the comment! Nice to know we don't have to worry too much except for myself to get off the waitlist!

  • Hello Alison and Steven.  ACC will provide you with a mentor who has already done the show later on this fall.  Among the  materials  you will  receive is an invitation to have an experienced partner to whom  you can direct  your  questions.  It helps, because  the first time  I did the show, there was a lot of information  thrown at us, especially about the rules  relating to what  type of vehicles the  convention center  union  contract  covers, pipe and  drape, etc.   As big as the  show is, I have found load in and load out very well run and pretty  straight forward for the size of the show, with  golf  cart driving  guides taking you in and out.  This  year's show also changes the layout for wholesale/retail anyway, the  show  will be divided into  2 sections: home decor and  jewelry and accessories or something like that.  Do not  chew  your nails.

  • Hi Steven, don't know if any of these links will help you or not, but it is worth a try.  The ACC Baltimmore show has been discussed or mentioned in the following links.  Maybe you will find some helpful info there.

  • I'm 13 on the waitlist and have never done the show as well.  Would love to learn too.
