Oh - I want to do an artist review on Art on the Mall at the University of Toledo. I know EriK Gable did a visitors perspective but I was an artist at the event.
Well, some of us have to be encouraged, maybe, to feel qualified to do a "review." It's a good starting point, anyway.
It is indeed helpful--especially for those of us who are clueless as to how to blog.
A show review is actually pretty easy to do.
Think about it this way.
You are talking to a friend, maybe an artist, and you want to tell them about your recent experience at an art show.
Just write it like a conversation. It will flow.
Otherwise, there is the template to use--which frankly is the Sunshine Artist Magazine model. Personally, I find their approach a little too cold and un-furfilling.
But, that is just me.
Thanks again for taking the time to find that old article and post it. Nels.
