"I’m sorry I’m just seeing this! Do you have any pictures of your set up? I’m fairly certain I would like to buy the panels, lights and banner bar off of you :) I am in Southern California and I’m figuring driving to you would…"
It is a much more personal experience getting to actually communicate with those choosing to live with my art! There is also such a wide spectrum of art fair attendees that really provides a unique way to better learn what the public is generally connecting with in my work. These reads help direct how I can further push myself to challenge/dig deeper into those conversations when I create! (Since art is not just a one-sided dialogue ;) )
Best show ever and why
Not an Art Fair Show, but my graduate thesis exhibit, “Rabbit,” because I had the opportunity to be free of the pressure of sales, and instead utilize the whole gallery space as an installation.
Worst show ever and why
Porter Flea... because I was ill prepared and it fell in the middle of a bunch of graduate MFA school stress!
