Artist Home & Studio for Sale - great location

From Jerry Berta:My good friend Phil Thompson has moved into a small house in South Haven, MI.  Their 4000 sq ft house in Bangor, MI, is for sale. It would make a great house for an artist couple. Enough extra rooms for 2 studios, on a double lot, and 15 minutes for Lake Michigan. Beautifully landscaped. all for $219,000.Does this sound like where you'd like to live? Here's the rest of the info: …See More

What are the best things about art fairs
When you go home with fat pockets.
Best show ever and why
Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair 2001 - best sales ever at an art show, lots of money flowing in the streets of Ann Arbor. We went home and paid all our bills!
Worst show ever and why
As beginners, grasping at anything, got talked into an "art show" at Boysville, a fundraiser at a rural boy's reformatory. The first day we pocketed $5 in sales. Instead of spending the night we cancelled our hotel reservation and went home.

Hi Connie , I see I’ve received another fraudulent scammy msg written exactly as the one on Monday but a different name. I set my privacy to friends only but they got in again. How can I prevent these?

Hi Connie, sorry for the late response but thank you for the warm welcome to the community.  I've been an event photographer for the past 38yrs & looking to transition into the Fine Art/Giclee Print world.  I stumbled across this site & found it to be of interest to help me move my career in this new direction.  I hope to be able to contribute as much to the community in exchange for all that I can learn.  Thanks again.

Thank you so much!  I am curious about the best place to post a booth set up for sale?  Can you let me know the best place so I'm doing it correctly?

Thank you Connie, I work full time as a nurse an hour away from where she lived since I moved in several years ago to take care of Erika so am having a hard time even finding the time to study and practice the techniques she started me on. It is a bit overwhelming.  Not to mention organizing her studio. Whew. I could open my own bead store lol. Thanks again for the warm welcome. Hope to see you some day.
