When you go home with fat pockets.
Best show ever and why
Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair 2001 - best sales ever at an art show, lots of money flowing in the streets of Ann Arbor. We went home and paid all our bills!
Worst show ever and why
As beginners, grasping at anything, got talked into an "art show" at Boysville, a fundraiser at a rural boy's reformatory. The first day we pocketed $5 in sales. Instead of spending the night we cancelled our hotel reservation and went home.

Thanks for the warm invite Connie. I have been reading your comments for years. I have been doing Art Shows for about 14 years, selling my hand made Coats & Jackets. Of course this year has been an absolute disaster for the Art business, unfortunatly selling coats & jackets on the internet is not an easy thing as women like to look into a mirror when buying a $ 500.00 item! Any ideas would be a great help.

Hi Connie, sorry for the late response but thank you for the warm welcome to the community.  I've been an event photographer for the past 38yrs & looking to transition into the Fine Art/Giclee Print world.  I stumbled across this site & found it to be of interest to help me move my career in this new direction.  I hope to be able to contribute as much to the community in exchange for all that I can learn.  Thanks again.

Be safe

Thank you so much!  I am curious about the best place to post a booth set up for sale?  Can you let me know the best place so I'm doing it correctly?
