What are the best things about art fairs
Feedback and reinforcement from real live people. Without that, the work can get stale. I also love chatting with other artists and getting tips and hearing their stories. And of course there's the shopping!
Best show ever and why
There are a lot of factors that go into what makes a show "best" - it's not just the money! I really enjoyed the (old) Long Grove Arts Fest. Worst show ever and why
Autumn Arts and Crafts show at the Odeum in Villa Park, IL. It was awful! I did not do my homework and visit the show before applying. My work did not fit with the vibe of the show at all. Customers were looking for crafty bargains, not what I was selling. Four days of disinterest is a blow to the ego and a waste of time.
