This lovely lady was spotted in mid-May only about 30 meters from the road. She was coming out of some pine trees. She continued walking along the edge of the trees until she was only about 10 meters from us. This shot was just before her closest approach. I'm not sure if she was thinking I'd make a great meal or what but I was ready to get back into the car if she continued closing the distance. Fortunately for all parties, she turned away and headed back away from us. This was shot with a D70 and a AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR II lens. This has been cropped.
