Charming Doubling Point Lighthouse is just south of Bath, Maine and is the first lighthouse brand-new ships see as they sail down the Kennebec River enroute to open ocean. The morning light on this particular morning broke through as I was shooting and in a matter of minutes was gone. The other shots from that day are just as beautiful as the blue skies were stunning but this shot was the best of the bunch.
