These hand poured pottery bowls are a piece of art that can be displayed like a painting or used, you choose. The pictures do not do my hand poured bowls justice!I hand poured slip (liquid clay) that is non toxic and lead free in a large mold; let it set for 8 hours, removed from the mold let it dry then fired in my kiln. I then hand designed the bowl using lead free, non toxic glazes that are safe for food and fire again. I then give it a another layer of colored glaze and a clear glaze and fire again. There is over 30 hours of work put into making this lovely bowl.The colors are red and green with a smooth and textured finish. This is a 12' round bowl 2" high that is great for pasta, salads or whatever you want. It can be placed in the oven and microwave and is dishwasher safe.This bowl also makes a beautiful decoration that you can hang on the wall or display on a plate stand or "invisible" wall hanger. Due to the hand crafted nature of my items, color and design variation will occur adding to unique qualities of my pottery. All my pottery is made by hand one at at time; no two pieces are exactly alike.
