You're Out, You're In, You're Out- Mainsail

I was just forwarded a series of four e-mails from Mainsail that went out this afternoon between 5:02 and 6:10. First e-mail was a rejection letter, then an acceptance letter than a rejection and finally a second rejection and apology for the confusion.

    I'm glad to see we weren't the only ones.  It makes you feel like you passed the jury then someone said hey I don't want them here...  Both my husband and I got acceptances then rejections then apologies, 4 emails each.

    We received the same four emails and ended up on the rejected list and an apology for the confusion.  So, we're looking for another venue.............Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    I liked the Melbourne experience last year better - where they mistakenly rejected me and then accepted me.

    Does this happen to anyone else - you get declined from a show you can't do and you still feel insulted...

    Nice mess! I think they should make room and let us rejection/acceptance folks in, now I need a show that weekend!

    I got two "You're out" and an apology.  That's okay, I was going to have to decline anyway.  I hope to be in Virginia by then.

      Well, I wondered if it was just me. Got the series of emails, also. However, like Alison, I had not planed on going if accepted. It still felt weird. I am having second thoughts about traveling long distances to do shows this year. Just eats up so much of the profit, if I'm lucky enough to have substantial profit.

    Larry,

    both my husband and I received our acceptance letters, as soon as I read your discussion, I checked again and they have since sent hotel info...should I take this as a good sign, or worry about a rejection , you have me a bit nervous.

    Thank you for the info on having my slides made at  ifrontfromhome.com they arrived today, and I had a giclee print made, great products and service. I live in Potter County, Pa the middle of nowhere so finding such a service is wonderful . Thank you Larry!!!
