I'm trying to decide which booth shot will look best to jurors.  The first one with the mesh was what I used last year and got me into almost every festival I applied for, but the second with propanels is what my set up looks like now.  Personally I feel the propanel booth looks best, but the mesh shot was a tried and true method.

Thoughts?

  • Neither. Both have issues. One has a door open in the back and the other has sun light streaks through the booth and a huge amount of sky showing. Both have the pieces closest to the camera cut off at the edges and the pieces are too close together. Also your work comes across too diverse in color and size for the jurors to understand in a few seconds what they are looking at. Spread fewer pieces out.

    • What about the table with the business cards, etc?  I know it doesnt look as appealing in pictures, but it will be at the shows so if they really want to know whats in my tent...

    • Thanks Larry.
