  • Missed this thread.

It's not a booth set up for a jury slide. Take the shelving on the front left and move it to the back wall. Drop your canopy sides down to cut down on backlighting and distractions you can see over the back wall.

  • It's a great looking setup. To use this as your booth photo for show applications you definitely want to crop it on all sides leaving just the inside tent roof showing at the top, cropping at least up to the tent poles on the side and cropping the street pavement at the bottom. That brings the viewer right up to the booth entrance and still shows all 3 sides.  Also lighten up the back of the booth - it's a bit dark.

  • Looks great!

    • Thanks Annette! Have a great year! Jackie

  • It looks good, but my only concern would be the width of the opening for people to walk in.  You want people to be able to walk into your booth comfortably, and you need to assume there are 2-3 potential customers in the booth at one time.  If they have to squeeze to pass one another, it may keep them from walking in.  Also, since you have breakable pottery, they may bump the corner of the display on the front left (left in the picture) and knock something over.

Moving the two center stands may also improve people flow.  Just my opinions!  Also, I'd completely remove the front tent panels instead of pulling them back for the picture.

    • Hi Dave, good suggestion, however the panels in the front are off, what you see is 2 curtains that I used to cover the poles as I was told by the Zapp people that the poles should be covered? Thanks for the comments, I am going to try to find some round or oval pedestals, these were really inexpensive and a good starter. This is also the 1st time I have used a shelf out front narrowing the entrance opening. I've done one show with this display a week ago and it seemed to work out ok, however it was not as busy of a show as I am used to, so I may redistribute the shelves.

      • Hi Dave, thanks, yes those folding panels go all the way around the tent, we bought those instead of the propanels, weren't sure how they look, but after we got them up we decided we loved them. Thanks again for the comments, Jackie

      • Now that I look at the picture closer, I can see that they aren't front curtains!   I like the overall look of your booth, especially the folding panels in the back.

  • Jacquelyn-  If this is your jury image, you may want to crop the top of your tent. People's eyes are always drawn to white and you don't need the jurors looking at your tent, you want them looking at your work.  :)

    • Thanks Janet, good advice and I did see that in a post today by another member on preparing booth shots to be juried. Jackie
