Looking for some feedback on image arrangements for 3, 4 and 5 image applications (not including booth).

http://www.juryimages.com/jury/index.php?action=view&userId=325

The top 2 rows are a group of the most cohesive images I could fit (ignore watermarks). I have removed images that were only aspens, single trees, etc. The 3rd row is what we submitted to a show already. All images are viewable on our site http://www.usscenics.com/gallery/

  • The http://JuryImages.com web site is working now but everything needs to be uploaded again because the database needed to be rebuilt.

    • Ok, images are back up now.

  • I can't get that first link to open on two different browsers, Steve.

I like the arrangement, although I might (in row one) swap images #1 & #4.

    • Hi Connie,

That server is down until about midnight tonight. I have a lot of artists using it to format their images for ZAPP. No not really, I just spoke to the hosting company and they are migrating the server tonight. I missed the e-mail notification. Try again in the morning.

      • It looks like something didn't work correctly. It looks like the files did not move over because the main page says

        Welcome to your website!
This is the default index page of your website.
This file may be deleted or overwritten without any difficulty. This is produced by the file index.html in the web directory.

      • oh, that is one of your sites, Larry? Sorry, I had forgotten that.

  • Have you thought about cropping to minimize the amount of sky in each image?

I think that could make them all stronger.

It's a cool web site that not enough artists are using.

    • Yes, your juryimages website is useful. In regards to cropping, I am assuming you mean to make them more square to fill up the projection screen? Does the proposed order (row 3) seem solid?

      • No. What I'm suggesting is for you to look at your images differently. The sky is the weakest part of each image so I'm asking you to consider cropping it out.
