Costco Booth Photo

While at Costco yesterday, I noticed that they had their EZUp type canopy on display six feet off the ground. Additionally it had two walls attached. I couldn't resist and went back out to my car for my camera. You can see where I dropped in a display in the top picture. The original is at the bottom.

      • Des Moines, Quincy, Cherry Creek, Clayton, 14 craft shows, 4 wine festivals, and 2 music shows just called for you Larry.....they love the new creative booth shots that just "wow'd" them and you are in!!! Start wrapping & packing baby!
        • Must be the puppy pictures in the booth.

  • Was it Disney who said "When I see an elephant fly".    This type of e-z is worthless. The only model that stands the test is with the crossbars over your head(encore2); this unit pictured has no supports side to side;  Bash e-z all you want -guess you missed the Columbus nightmare-pictures showed $1000 tents destroyed next to standing e-zs and destroyed ones also.  In Vero 2 years ago Nels & co. sheltered under my e-z for awhile; we had gone-all was well.  They are not waterproof (no matter how much stuff you spray on top) and if you weigh them down right -no problem- When we need it- it works for us showing our glass--for 20tyears.
    • I had an e-z up that I had for 8 years, although I bought a HEAVY duty vinyl top at about the same time that was guaranteed not to leak and it didn't...and never pooled water. That tent had no plastic parts and was really heavy duty. It cost $850 in 1993. Getting the top on was difficult as it was so heavy. It broke a leg in a wind storm while weighted heavily on all sides. I bought a new e-z just and used the heavy vinyl on the new one...well it worked but the new frame was thinner and had plastic parts on the frame. I now have a $1000 with awnings and it is a DREAM.
  • On the serious side, I know several artists that have bought these tents and have been pretty happy with them.  I don't think they are as strong as the Caravans that Costco used to sell, but the sidewalls seem to be better.
  • The flying Art Booth!!
Larry you should have no problems getting to any show now...you can fly there, drop down all set up, then fly right off when finished!! no set-up, tear down, trudge to vehicle, etc. No more hassles!! Great innovation!! Better patent it soon!
  • Not to bash EZups but isn't this their normal configuration in windy conditions, about 6 feet off the launch pad?
    • Two craft shows just withdrew their invite - "too kitschy" they said- but the good news is Madison will give you a double booth next to the tin can airplanes and genuine Chinese paintings with real certificates of authenticity. Congrats!
    • Either that or the top is two feet off the ground.
