Booth Set Ups

I would love to see more photos and idea on various ways to arrange and set up your booth. I have various items from glass vases to planter boxes and jewelry.  Any suggestions or ideas would be much appreciated as I am new to this.

  • I use 4 ft tables taken up to the top height which does allow different configurations.  I also use stackable Armstrong panels (like propanel knock downs)  which are very light and easy to set up.   They also fit easier into a normal vehicle.  We used my husband's subaru wagon until I got my minivan.  I am 62 and can put my booth up by myself.  The hardest part for me is the tent.
  • Connie had a great post with pictures from a show earlier this summer with some great ideas.

    • Thanks Ruth, that was very informative. I'm still searching for ideas that is professional looking, lightweight and doesn't cost a arm and a leg.  We are in our 70's and hubby has a bad back besides and we just use our SUV. Some of the wonderful set ups look like they must have a cargo van to haul everything in.  We've just been using the 6' tables (which I hate) and a hanging rack for wind chimes and can barely get all that and our items in our car.
      • I've recently got some 4ft tables that make different set ups much easier.  Plus they're lighter!
  • Thank you Larry for your input and as for what medium, that is a good question.  I never know what to put other that mixed medium.  I embellish anything that I can find with sea glass, shells, coral, pearls etc,. I use vases, planter boxes, wind chimes and mobiles.  I started out with jewelry and with so many artist in that field switched to mostly home decor or decorative items. Appreciate any help as to what medium I should use on my show applications.

    Thanks, Loretta

  • Hi Loretta, use the search function at the top right of the page to find posts on booths.  You can also search photos that include "booth" as one of the keywords by clicking on "photos" in the menu bar near the top of the page and then entering "booth" in the search bar (under the heading All Photos and View Slideshow).  This will give you a few more to look at  :)
  • What's your medium, though it sounds like it might be jewelry.

I have a few examples sprinkled throughout the articles on how to shoot your booth picture on my web site:

Howard Alan has a lot of example pictures by medium in the photo gallery on his web site:
