"absolutely true, acid-free mat and backing are a must for quality work. and you can get both cut at a good prices on line if you buy 10 or more pieces at a time. (BTW, good galleries will reject cardboard)"

no more photoshop guilt?

My photoshop guilt is gone-- or at least subsided-- thanks to finding a display of late 19th Century photographers called "pictoralists."

I haven't done Stockley as the fall show ends up being the same weekend as Seafood Festival, but have heard it's a good show for artists as well as buyers. Do you have any shows coming up for spring?

Ruth Frasier said… Oh we don't agree we agree to disagree but we both love art, he is a graphic artist and artist in wood, my husband is also but I do the photographs, I have to yell at him to finish my site as he doesn't want to quit working in the shop. You ought to take a look at his but I have to have mine finished as I want a galley up.
We also have our own business outside of art but I really don't like the pressure henceforth the photographs, the old south goes along with my poetry books. I love to take pics of the past, everyone talks about digital cameras but they are the future and I like them. You can do so much with them.
Every show I go to wants it in digital except one and they want three prints but you know what they come from a digital. Funny.
