Has anyone done this fest? If so where did you stay? I know nothing about the area or the parking situation at the fest which doesn't sound great. Any info appreciated.

"I'm local Atlanta although I'm not doing Dogwood this year. Setup won't be bad as they string it out over 2 days and you can drive to your booth location to unload. Parking however is tough. Piedmont Park is a huge urban park…"

What are the best things about art fairs
Selling lots of stuff and meeting other artists!
Best show ever and why
Urbanna Oyster Festival! Everybody has a great time and the sales were magnificant for a two-day show.
Worst show ever and why
One of my first in the park in my home town. Tent leaked (I had borrowed it) and it rained almost the entire time! Don't know why it didn't deter me but it didn't.

Longs Park Quesion

Posted on February 18, 2011 at 10:10am 5 Comments

I also have questions about Long's Park. I sent a question to them about a permit being required in their info on Zapp. They replied back that most artists don't bring their own tents but use some tent service there that they gave me the name of. I do shows all over the east coast. Most artists I know of bring their own tents. Is Longs different for a reason? Does anyone know? Thanks for your info.
