"Forgot to say... When it does tarnish, I stick it back in the tumbler for 1/2 hour or so & it comes out looking like new.  It works for most pieces, a few I still have to polish by hand. Tina"

"I bought a yard of Pacific Cloth which is flannel that has been treated with anti-tarnish.  I got it at a fabric store (maybe Hancocks?).  I just cut it into 1"x1" pieces put one in each zip baggie.  I also keep a big piece…"

"I use the little packets and sometimes chalk.  I keep my jewelry in zip loc bags, and then in a Rubbermade type container, and just throw the packets in with the rest of the jewelry, not a container in each bag.  It seems to work fine.…"

"I've always heard plain children's chalk is the best thing. I don't use it because I keep things in little individual plastic bags, which is a great help. (And would use a truckload of chalk, LOL.) I use some little black tarnish…"

"I've also heard this works. However I've heard it works because the little packets absorb the moisture in the air. You can collect the packets from shoe boxes and any other "new" items packed with them to keep dry. The jewelry…"

O2 Absorbers for Sterling Silver

Has anyone tried using O2 absorbers (the kind found in pill bottles or food packets) to help retard tarnish on their sterling silver jewelry?  A customer of mine said someone had told her to try it, she used one from a pill bottle she had, and thought it worked well.  If anyone has tried it and found it satisfactory, would you please let me know the type you use and what supplier you get them from.  If anyone has any  other suggestions to help retard the tarnish effectively, would appreciate…See More

My Caravan tent lasted 6 years before the top began to sag and when it rained, it was a disaster with the billowing pillows of water that it collected over night. However, last year I bought the usual EZ up at Sams for 100 and it was horrible. After at least 5 months of calling and complaining and them sending me parts, etc., I finally had it, and really told them off. they finally sent me a brand new tent, with all the accessories. On Saturday, I used it for the first time, and I guess they finally listened to the exhibitors' complaints. Remember how difficult it is to put the cover on --like stretching a condom (I always kept the top on so it was tight) -- well, they made it roomier. Also, the tent went up like a flash, which the older model didn't, and the sides were roomier also -- I didn't have to stretch and pull and push in the posts to get it to zip. So, the 2009 model is terrific. Let's just see how long it lasts.
