"Yeah, then definitely order the WN on line.  I wouldn't say that Permalba is wonky, per se, because it is very consistent.  If you know how you're using it, it can be useful.   I don't use pthalos, but I also have…"

"I wouldn't use Shiva or Gamblin, under any circumstances.  Did you complain to the new owner about losing the W/N?  Also, which W/N were you using?  That sort of matters in terms of making a recommendation.  ASWexpress.com…"

"Just a reminder about Sunshine Artist. The show rankings are based on sales numbers only. I know I'm repeating myself, but a flea market can be in the "Top 100". And like Larry said, the information is based only on the audits…"

"Just an observation. I see so many newcomers to the "circuit" and after doing only a few shows they want to know where the "best" shows are! The "best" for whom? I can recommend shows in new Englsnd, and New York as…"

What are the best things about art fairs
Ability to sell work directly to buyers, connect with people who are really interested in acquiring original art
Best show ever and why
Pittsfield Art Fair 2009--low entry fee, good sales. As far as I'm concerned, any day when people buy original oil paintings is a great day! Each sale is a miracle in this day and age.
Worst show ever and why
New Milford Outdoor Art Fair, 2010. No sales, terrible foot traffic. Show was advertised as having a limit on giclee prints as a portion of the booth, and this was NOT enforced. Did not attract the upscale, buying, second-home clientele as advertised in brochure.
