Anyone use flood lights?

I have 6 LED lights from propanel and honestly, they just aren't cutting it. And they are such a pain to set up as my booth walls are 9' tall. I was thinking about getting a couple flood lights to clamp on my stabilizer bar at the front of my tent and shine them in. Anyone do anything like that or have easier lighting suggestions?

  • I have used the flood light method. I don't recommend it. They have standard, I think "HTX" or "HDX" branded ones at Home Cheapo, that are clamp on. They are a fiberglass housing which is good.

However, the clamping system is a pain to work with. I wound up using velcro in addition.

Instead use track lights, with LED bulbs. I attach the to my extra poles on my trimline. You can do this while it is on the ground, then lift it together. On my pop-up, I put them up after the tent is up.

I do that sometimes with the trimline also.

  • Boy I hope someone does, my 1st fair in a little more than a week from now. I also am thinking common hardware store style clamp on lights. If anyone has tried this and has wisdom to share I for one will forever be grateful.
