While visiting the NC Museum of Life and Science on a special holiday, I captured - WHO? - this handsome, sleepy Owl with both his eyes closed to the world and to me. Then one eye opened.  With his head cocked over to the side, his yellow beak stood out amidst all his distinctive black and white body feathers. ... In this unplanned "Photo-Bomber" moment, I "shuttered" a picture that harkens me back to the Charles Dickens classic, "A Christmas Carole". I do make an eerie, Scroogian "Ghost of Photographer Present" - don't you agree?! ... Fortunately, the winking Owl showed no signs of any fear for this Holiday "Ghost" Head. "WHOOO, Me?!"
