Charming Doubling Point Lighthouse is just south of Bath, Maine "The City of Ships" and is the first lighthouse brand-new ships see as they sail down the Kennebec River enroute to open ocean. Visitors are allowed to walk all the way out to the lighthouse and walk around it. I encourage you to find it for yourself and experience the beauty first-hand of this beautiful lighthouse.
